To run Dark Basic Pro executables be sure to install this updates from Microsoft official website:

2) Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)
3) .NET Framework 4.8 Web Installer
Sometimes links on official Microsoft website can be changed or removed - if so, try to search them and download manually.

Unofficial update DBPro 9Ex 1.0.1.0 - I use this one
Update for last official and then install this one. It fixes some issues and granted quicker compilation. I use it for 20k+ lines of code projects.

Some of plugins below need to be registered. Due to inactive TheGameCreators license server it is now impossible. But don't worry! Here are all necessary certificate files in one folder. Just unzip it to "Dark Basic Professional\Compiler" folder.
Cloth & Particles Expansion Pack provides a set of commands for creating emitters, colliders and cloth. Using these new commands it's possible to create all kinds of particle and cloth effects within a 3D scene. ( for realtime physics use DarkDynamix or DarkPhysics plugins )
DarkDynamix download. Powerful physic system using PhysX by Nvidia. Cloth, ragdoll and terrain physics.
DarkPhysics download. Another physics system based on PhysX. Liquid, soft and rigid body physics.
